Tools for Reading a GLP-1 Price
2 tools for reading what a GLP-1 program actually bills, computed from the same 42 published prices and 16 providers the boards rank. Every figure carries the term it was published under, and nothing is converted.
The three rules both tools follow
Both pages read the same 42 published prices from the same 16 providers the boards rank, across 8 drug-and-format combinations. Nothing on them is typed by hand and nothing is estimated.
- A price never appears without its term. Every figure carries the qualifier the provider published it under — the plan length, what the figure covers, whether it is a starting rate or the one that recurs. A number quoted without that is a different claim from the number.
- A required membership is part of the bill. 11 of the 42 prices here are only available to members, and the membership is billed apart from the medication. Those totals add it. 1 more is an introductory medication rate that reverts. Between them, 12 prices across 3 providers cost more from month two on.
- A missing fee is not a fee of zero. 16 of the 42 prices sit on a page that states no membership fee and does not say that none applies. Those totals are the medication alone, labeled as such. A provider that publishes nothing is not a provider that charges nothing.
One thing worth knowing before either table: 5 of the 16 providers sell the same drug as both a brand-name pen and a compounded vial. Those are two different purchases at one company, and a single cheapest figure for that company compares them against each other.
