How this site makes money

Some links here can pay us. When a reader clicks through to a provider and signs up, that provider's affiliate program may pay compareglp a commission. The reader pays nothing extra for arriving that way.

That is the whole business model, and there is no paid placement on the comparison board, no sponsored review, and no fee a company can pay to be added, moved up, or taken off.

Where things stand right now

Right now, 0 of the 16 providers compared here are paid partners.

That number is counted, not typed. It changes on its own as partnerships begin or end, so the sentence above stays true on the day one is signed and on the day one ends.

A provider that pays nothing is still linked, still scored, and still written up the same way. Being unpaid does not keep a company off the board, and being paid does not put one on it.

Every outbound provider link on this site routes through a /go/ address before it reaches the company. That is true for paid partners and unpaid providers alike.

The hop does two jobs. It puts every company behind the same exit step, so none gets a shorter or cleaner path than another, and it attaches the tracking a paid partner's program requires.

An unpaid provider's link carries no tracking at all. It resolves to that company's own address with nothing appended to it.

Placement can be commercial. The assessment is not.

Money can decide what gets promoted. It does not decide what gets said.

Board order is set by the score, and the score comes from four checks applied identically to every company. Methodology spells out what those checks are and what they leave out.

If a promoted slot is ever sold on this site, it will carry a label saying so, sitting next to the thing it paid for. A commercial slot that is not obviously commercial is the failure worth guarding against.

What a commission cannot buy

A commission does not buy a higher score, a softened con, a removed warning-letter disclosure, or a different verdict.

It does not buy a competitor's removal. It does not buy a price shown without its qualifier or without the date it was read.

No provider sees a page before it goes live, and none has approval over a word of it.

This is not medical advice

Nothing here is medical advice, and no one on this site is your clinician. Whether one of these medications is right for you is a decision for you and a prescriber who knows your history.

Use these comparisons to shop and to ask better questions. Do not use them to decide what to take.

Say so, and write to hello@compareglp.org with the address of the page and the sentence or figure that looks wrong on it.

Corrections describes what happens after that.
