What this site is

compareglp compares the telehealth companies that prescribe GLP-1 medications for weight loss, and scores each one on how much it tells you before you pay.

The comparison board is the product. Every review, article, and explainer on the site exists to make one number or one cell on that board make sense.

Who it is for

The reader here has a brand name from an ad, a price in mind, and a question nobody has answered plainly: what does this actually cost, and who am I buying from?

That reader is usually comparing several options at once, usually watching the price closely, and usually short on time. Pages are built to answer first and explain second.

This is a second opinion, not a clinic. It exists to be read before you trust a provider, not instead of one.

What it actually does

It reads what each company publishes, records the monthly price with the date it was read and a link to the source, and applies four disclosure checks that are the same for every company.

It writes up what those checks found, including what a company declines to say. A program that will not name its compounding pharmacy has told you something, and the review says so.

It keeps the score and the opinion apart. The score is computed from the four checks; the verdict is written by a person and can be argued with.

What it does not do

compareglp does not prescribe, dispense, or sell medication. It is not a pharmacy, not a clinic, and not a telehealth provider.

No one here is your clinician, and nothing published here is medical advice. What to take, and whether to take anything at all, is a decision for you and a prescriber who knows your history.

compareglp is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by any provider, pharmacy, or drug manufacturer named on the site.

How it is paid for

Some outbound links can pay a commission when a reader signs up with a company. The reader pays nothing extra for arriving that way.

Placement can be commercial. The assessment is not. Disclosure sets out how many of the companies compared here are paid partners today and what a commission cannot buy.

Who publishes it

compareglp is published independently, under its own name, at compareglp.org.

Contact lists every route in, including the one for telling us a figure on this site is wrong.

Holding it to account

Editorial policy states the rules this site is meant to follow, including that no clinical credential is claimed anywhere on it.

Methodology states exactly how a score is built, so any reader can re-derive one from a company's own website and see whether it comes out the same.
